France Légaré contributes to an article in BMJ Health Services Research on reducing the complexity of decision aids

Anik Giguère's team along with France Légaré have published an paper in BMJ Health Services Research about the complexity of decision aids. In the paper, entitled Reducing complexity of patient decision aids for community-based older adults with dementia and their caregivers: multiple case study of Decision Boxes, the authors aimed to reduce the complexity of decision aids for older adults with dementia and their family caregivers. They used a mixed method, multiple case study with a user-centred design approach. They produced a revised template for patient decision aids designed to meet the needs of adults living with dementia and their caregivers. The template may also enable developers to reduce the number of evaluation-modification rounds.
