General objectives To describe the probalistic nature of a diagnosis (bacterial versus a viral respiratory tract infection).
To describe scientific evidence regarding the risk/benefit ratios of the options (use antibiotics or not).
To learn communication techniques.
To learn strategies to foster patients’ participation in the decision–making process
To promote shared decision making in clinical primary care practices.
Format 3X3 workshop (initial format), 2h web-based tutotial with 2h interactive workshop followed by reminders (updated format)
