General objectives • Identify aspects of the inflammatory cascade that contribute to the etiology, signs and symptoms of psoriatic arthritis and related comorbid autoimmune conditions that can impact treatment decisions
• Select appropriate therapy for patients with Psoriatic arthritis to minimize disease progression, improve patient adherence to therapy, and enhance patient quality of life based on an improved understanding of disease pathophysiology
• Implement strategies to improve communication and decision-making with other health care providers who care for patients with psoriatic arthritis and comorbid conditions
• Routinely screen patients with psoriatic arthritis for common comorbid conditions, including psoriasis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, gastrointestinal disorders and depression
