General objectives In depth knowledge: to gain knowledge on indication, ethics, goals and evidence of SDM and on quality criteria of evidence-based patient information.

Skills: to develop skills in teaching SDM using Klar for samvalg INTERPROF and in responding to typical trainees’ questions and concerns related to SDM.

Competences: to develop competences in evaluating consultations using the MAPPIN’SDM observation scales and in discussing quality of communication examples in terms of the MAPPIN’SDM quality criteria
Format 3 days group courses (up to 25 participants) applying different behaviour change techniques: lectures, interactive observation, demonstration of feedback provision, group discussions, facilitation of experience exchange, mini-workshops, edited training videos, preparation of teaching sessions by participants
