The US National Institutes of Health has announced a funding opportunity entitled: Implementation of shared decision making for HLBS (heart, lung, blood, and sleep) diseases and conditions (R01 Clinical Trial Optional). The first standard application due date is June 5, 2019. The purpose of this initiative is to support research that uses evidence-based, practical approaches to increase the uptake of shared decision making (SDM) in routine clinical practice.
