France Légaré participates in US-Canada PCORI Palliative Care Learning Network team meeting

This PCORI program funds multiple, large, multi-site, community-based clinical effectiveness studies to generate evidence on a) support for care planning over time that is consistent with the goals and preferences of adult patients with advanced illnesses and their caregivers, and b) support for the delivery of coordinated, community-based palliative care that effectively implements those care plans. Dr. France Légaré and Dr. Annette Totten of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) are co-directing one of these studies entitled: A Cluster-Randomized Trial Comparing Team-Based versus Primary Care Clinician-Focused Advance Care Planning in Practice-Based Research Networks.
