France Légaré Participated in the Most Studies on Shared Decision-Making Published between 2009 and 2018

As a reference for researchers, Cuncun Lu and colleagues systematically analyzed the global development trends and research focus of shared decision-making (SDM) studies. Up to April 17, 2019, a total of 6,629 studies on SDM were identified as having been published between 2009 and 2018. It was found that France Légaré participated in the most studies (n = 101). Since 2009, the number of studies concerning SDM has continued to increase, with the United States leading the field. The landscape of SDM publications tends to include the concept itself, the framework of practice, and the evaluation of the effects of SDM. Subjects that should receive more attention include “Informed consent,” “Surgery,” “Depression,” “Seniors,” and “Patient Centered Care.”
