As part of its special COVID-19 action plan, the Francophone University Agency (AUF) supports university health networks in their actions related to the fight against the pandemic. In particular, it supports the videoconferences organized by the International Conference of Deans of French-speaking Faculties of Medicine (CIDMEF), a member network of the AUF, which is mobilizing with its partners to help French-speaking faculties of medicine cope with the pandemic. In particular, it organizes conferences that are accessible to all. The CIDMEF, in partnership with the Société de Pneumologie de Langue Française and the Espace Francophone de Pneumologie, has been organizing bi-weekly videoconferences for more than four years, providing news and information to all medical schools in the French-speaking world. Twenty faculties, nearly 400 doctors and assistants participate regularly. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, programs have been modified to give priority to individual and collective emergency measures.

The AUF organized the 12th International Conference of Deans of French-Speaking Faculties of Medicine (CIDMEF) on February 4 on the theme "Knowledge sharing in times of COVID". The online conference is now available on Youtube by following this link (French only).
