General objectives Knowledge: to gain knowledge on indication, ethics, goals and evidence of SDM and on quality criteria of evidence-based patient information.

Skills: to develop knowledge in recognizing decisions requiring SDM and in structuring an SDM consultation

Competencies: to develop competences in evaluating own attempts to involve patients into their own decisions in terms of the MAPPIN’SDM concept of quality
Format 1 to 3 hours Group course applying different behaviour change techniques: Lectures, Role-play, Interactive observation, edited training film sequences, Group discussions.
